It is an honor for me to work in this field where I can join with people in their sacred, personal work. I connect deeply with individuals by providing a safe, respectful place for them to share their story. I empower clients to discover their true selves and resolve past and present issues so they can truly and freely live and experience life to the fullest. I have a unique ability to meet and accept people where they are and strongly believe in the strength of the human soul to overcome and thrive!
I have a focused passion in helping strengthen relationships within families. My areas of expertise include couples, parenting, and family work. I have a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy from Regis University and a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies from Brigham Young University. I also have completed a post-graduate certificate in Counseling Adolescents and Children with focused training in play and sand tray therapy. In addition, I have received Gottman Level 1 training in couples' work.
I use hands-on experiential methods to help people get to the core of their issues and find their own truths. I work with a wide variety of children, youth, and adult issues, such as ADHD, self-harm, abuse, grief and loss, self esteem, trauma, anxiety, depression. anger management, sexual and gender issues, and stages of life transitions. I am also a motivational speaker for schools, churches and corporations. I know what it takes to help this population feel understood and heard.
